Thank you for your co-operation with school drop off/pick up times. Pupils have all settled in & now know where they need to go. We do not need to have the staggered times any more. Just make sure pupils know to walk in apart from others to their classes. Staff will continue to collect pupils from & return to the gate. Those who have more than one drop off/pick up just continue to do your best. We understand it takes time to travel between sites.

We look forward to welcoming our pupils back on Tuesday 1st September. We have small class numbers ( teens or low 20’s ) in classrooms large enough for 35 plus pupils so we have plenty of space. We look forward to a fun filled week of settling everyone in & getting back to a routine.

Uniforms may be worn as usual. It can be cheaper to buy several uniform items in Lidl/Aldi/Tesco/Penneys/Dunnes at this time of year than school clothes. Pupils may alternate between normal uniform & P.E. uniform if desired or to facilitate laundering. Coats will be needed as we are to use outdoors more than usual. Layers may be needed as we have to use more ventilation, open windows & doors than usual.

Plastic lunch boxes & drinks container are the only items which travel between school & home. Pencil cases should be plastic & will stay in school. Pupils will need another pencil, etc. for home. Books/copybooks should be covered in plastic covers. Boxes need to be big enough to hold the largest book the pupil has. Boxes can be bought in any hardware shop. If you have already bought a schoolbag just put it away for next year. Uniforms as normal.
